Before you start

If you want to contact DVSA about a theory test or driving test, you will need some information about your test.

Driving tests

For driving tests, you’ll need 2 out of the following:

  • your provisional driving licence number
  • your driving test booking reference
  • your theory test pass certificate number

Theory tests

For theory tests, you’ll need 2 out of the following:

  • your provisional driving licence number
  • your theory test booking reference
  • your name, address and date of birth
